Going on a daily walk can not only improve your physical health but your mental health as well. Taking just a few minutes out of your day to enjoy some nice fresh air can be so calming. If you have a dog or dogs it is even easier to find the time to go for a walk. I always take a five to ten minute walk every day to clear my mind and just to get moving after a long day of sitting at school. Doing a quick walk around the neighborhood will also loosen up your muscles and prepare you for a heavier workout if you plan on doing one. For me personally, I have found that these daily walks have improved my overall health.
